Client Testimonials.
Best Small Hotel: Tela In just a few short years,
Maya Vista has become the place to stay in Tela. French
Canadian hosts Pierre and Suzanne have created a hill
top oasis right smack in the middle of downtown Tela.
The inn boasts 6 clean, comfortable rooms and a very
comfortable price. For the famished, Chef Suzanne cooks
up some of the freshest and tastiest chow on the North
Coast. The view from the restaurant is nothing short
of spectacular. From the comfort of your plate of steaming
shrimp and pasta, one can ponder the entire length of
coast from Triunfo to Punta Sal, truly magnificent.
For adrenaline junkies and afficionados of extreme experiences,
hike the stairs to the towering Maya Vista lookout tower.
From here one can gaze on the entire expanse of Tela
Bay, the Lancetilla Botanical gardens and the entire
town of Tela, sweating in it's decaying post banana
republic stupor: Howard Rosenzweig, Casa de Cafe,
Copan Ruinas.
Pierre and his wife are wonderful hosts and the hotel
restaurant offers excellent food. It is more like staying
in a private house than a hotel: Moon Handbook
Pierre and Suzanne speak English, French and Spanish.
They won't be surprised if your plan to stay one night
turns into one week: Best Inns of Central America
One of the best views of the Bay of Tela from its high
lookout point. First class service and atmosphere: Honduras
